1997 Workshop on Applications of Signal Processing to Audio and Acoustics

The workshop is sponsored by the Audio & Electroacoustics committee of the IEEE Signal Processing Society. Papers describing research and new concepts are solicited for technical sessions on, but not limited to, the fol lowing topics:

Aids for Auditory Impairment	High-Quality Audio Coding
Array Processing for Transducers	Room Acoustics
Audio Perception and Quality Evaluation	Sound Analysis and Synthesis
Audio & Telecommunications VLSI Hardware and software	Sound Editing, Restoration, and Enhancement
Auditory Scene Analysis	Spatial Perception and Processing
Computer Music	Surround Sound, 3-D Sound
Digital Audio Broadcast	Time-Frequency Analysis and Filterbanks

Authors may email a uuencoded or MIME encoded postscript version of their submission directly to the publications chair, or post a floppy disk. We will acknowledge your submission by return email or post. Submis sions should include authors' names, addresses, affiliations, electronic mail address, telephone, and facsimile numbers. Papers should be no more than four pages in length. Accepted papers will form the pub lished workshop proceedings.
