WASPAA 2025 will be a fully in-person event.
Registration Policy
Our registration policy is as follows:
- Each accepted paper must be presented by one of the authors at the workshop.
- Regardless of the presenter’s registration type (i.e., a student or full registration), each accepted paper must be covered by a full registration rate (i.e., one among: IEEE SPS Member, IEEE Member, Non-Member, Life Member, or Low Income Economy Country) by August 17, 2025. A full registration can cover up to 4 papers.
Registration Dates
Author registration will open on July 2, 2025 for authors of accepted papers, sponsors, and committee members. It will end on August 17, 2025.
General registration will open on August 18, 2025 for everyone, pending room availability.
The Advanced Rate will be in effect until August 24, 2025, after which attendees will need to pay the Regular Registration Rate.
Registration Fees
If you are an IEEE or IEEE SPS member or student member, you can take advantage of the membership reduced fee.
If you are not an IEEE or IEEE SPS member or student member, we highly encourage you to become a member of both IEEE and SPS, as the difference in registration cost is larger than the cost of membership.

Important note on the registration fees this year: Please note that this year’s registration fees include most food & beverage expenses (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and coffee breaks), with the rest being included in the hotel room rates. Attendees who do not stay at Granlibakken will need to pay a daily charge of $41 to cover the rest as well as the use of the hotel facilities. Travel awards: We are pleased to inform the participants that there will again be a large amount of travel grants available to students, young professionals, and underrepresented groups, in the form of registration fee waivers and additional grants.
