WASPAA 2025 Demonstrations
In addition to paper submissions, we are seeking demonstrations of novel technologies for IEEE WASPAA 2025. Demonstrations are intended to complement the workshop program with respect to practical achievements, challenges, implementations, integrations, and prototypes. Demonstrations will be held in-person.

- July 2, 2025: Notification of acceptance for papers
- July 16, 2025: Demonstration submission deadline
- July 23, 2025: Notification of accepted demos
Submission Guidelines
Demos must be submitted on CMT, separately from the paper track (submission site: https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/WASPAA2025/Submission/Index). We expect a 2-page document using the paper submission template plus an optional 1-minute teaser video. The demo submissions must be submitted anonymously (2 pages max, excluding references) and must include:
- A brief description of the system to be demonstrated, detailing the application, problem scenario, key technology, and what a visitor can learn from the demo. In particular, authors should highlight the novel contributions, integrated algorithms, and interactive aspects of the system.
- A complete list of equipment and physical space needed is required. Authors must provide their own equipment. Space may be limited. Demos with headphones are recommended.
- If the demo is related to a paper submitted to WASPAA, authors should specify the paper ID.
- At least one author of each accepted demo is required to register to WASPAA.
Video Format
- Teaser video – Duration: 1 minute (max). A pre-recorded one-slide slide show presentation and/or a showcase of a device or experiment.
- File size: 100MB max.
- Video file format: mp4
- Dimensions: Minimum height 720 pixels, aspect ratio: 16:9
- Instructions for recording with Zoom or for authors who are unable to access Zoom, you may use the free software OBS, which also allows the simultaneous recording of the speaker and slides: OBS Studio.
Selection Process
Each submission will be assessed by the Organizing Committee with a double-blind review process. Authors will be informed of acceptance or not via email and through CMT by the deadline listed above. The evaluation criteria are:
- Relevance to topics of interest of WASPAA 2025
- Significance and originality
- Technical quality
- Maturity and readiness for demonstration in physical or virtual form
- Potential for public interaction
